Organisation Description:
Sista is a charitable organization based in Port Vila, Vanuatu, driven by feminist values. We use arts, media, and communications to empower women and girls, raise awareness, and advocate on issues that affect them. Our goal is to contribute to a gender-balanced and respectful society in Vanuatu.
Job Desctiption:
The Communications and Advocacy Officer will play a key role in telling the story of Sista’s programs and ensuring that important messages reach communities. Working across the entire team, you will implement our communications strategy by developing compelling content and materials to showcase our work to key stakeholders—including the media, donors, partners, communities, and the public.
Selection Criteria:
Skills & Experience
Strong storytelling, editing, and content creation skills.
Experience in filming, photography, and video editing.
Knowledge of Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Canva, WordPress, CapCut (or similar tools).
Basic understanding of IT and file storage systems (e.g., OneDrive).
Salary:
40,000vt to 60,000vt per month
