Key Responsibilities/Duties

• Ensure that strategies and practices are in place to facilitate the efficient and effective staffing of department so that financial and service quality targets are achieved.
• Create a team that works together with trust and takes responsibility to meet the goals of the department / hotel.
• Implement on the job training initiatives with particular emphasis on coordinated and structured on job training aligned with service standards and service procedures.
• Establish and maintain safe working conditions and practices following Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
• Ensure every member of the team is able to sell Hotel facilities and is aware of special company promotions and upgrades.
• Consistently deliver a product and service to meet the quality, standards and expectations of guests whilst delivering the promises made by the Sales Team.
• Maintain a register of all service equipment maintenance and breakages; ensure that regular programmed maintenance is carried out to manufacturers specifications.
• Ensure Hotel, Customer and Staff information or transactions are kept confidential during or after employment with the company.
• To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel's staff handbook and the regulations contained therein.
• To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Resort's policy relating to fire, health and hygiene, cyclone and safety procedures.
• Undertake any other reasonable duty assigned by your Department Head and/or General Manager and/or his appointed Assistant.
• Conduct yourself in the proper manner befitting the image of Warwick Hotels & Resorts when in the Hotel and when representing the Hotel in sports and other functions outside the confines of the Hotel.

Selection Criteria:

Previous Front Office management experience or Senior role within a 4 or 5 star hotel;
A demonstrated history of achieving financial targets and working within a budget;

• This person will be responsible for the protection of hotel assets as well as the prevention of theft, minimisation of public liability hazards in and around the hotel premises and the maintenance of Fire Safety equipment as well as the management of a team of security officers operating 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Guest Experience Officer

Reporting to the Guest Experience Manager, you will plan, arrange, and promote tours and travel options, working with local tour operators, airlines and other transport companies for ground travel, in order to execute the arrangements. Provide customers with advice about where to travel as well as the best means of reaching such destinations.
Duties will include but not necessarily be limited to the following:
• Selling local tours to in house guests
• Providing general and specific advice about different travel and tour destinations
• Drawing up travel itineraries and ensuring that all the needs of the customers are met
• Making arrangements for transport, accommodation, tours, and activities
• Contacting airlines, hotels, and ground transport companies such as coach operators to make suitable arrangements
• Advising the customer about local tour issues including required documentation and financial matters, such as appropriate exchange rates
• Using the computer database to research information
• Dealing with tour bookings and payments
• Performing general administration tasks
• Organise contracts of Tour Operators to be signed by Iririki
• Ensure a copy of Certificate of Currency for Public Liability are up to date with each Tour Operators
• Making presentations to travel groups
• Creating and putting up displays at the resort

We are recruiting for Guest Activities Manager

Selection Criteria:

Our ideal candidate:
At least 3-5 years relevant work experience and a full working knowledge of a hotel operation, its service and recreational requirements and able to handle guest enquiries promptly and efficiently
Have a wide knowledge and experience of analytical administrative and management skills
Have completed Basic training of Trainers and Open Water Boat Masters training
Have a pleasant and outgoing personality with a good command of English both written and spoken
Have excellent communication and inter-personnel skills
Have knowledge of First Aid/CPR and OHS practices and also emergency procedures
Be able to direct and supervise the activates attendants using the hotel guidelines to provide the highest standards of courteous service while permitting acceptable profit levels
The ability to work across flexible rosters including weekdays, weekends, public holidays, and school holidays

Conduct new employee orientations and ensure all on boarding documents are completed and provide employees with necessary information and resources.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records physical files , HR drive and in payroll systems.
Collect timesheets and ensure accuracy for payroll.
Assist in calculation for benefits, allowance, bonus, leave and severance and timely submitting to payroll for processing
Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees, ensuring compliance with internal audit.
Generate ad-hoc reports as needed.
Communicate and enforce HR policies across the organization.
Assist in additional task and other HR projects and support other functions as needed

Relevant Certificate and qualification preferred but not required

We are recruiting for Human Resources Manager

key responsibilities include:
Generating employment contracts and induction packs.

Manage the HR team: provide guidance and leadership on all HR functions, inclusive of Security / Compliance / OH&S / Labor – Relations / Training & Development.

Plan, organize, direct, control or coordinate the personnel, training, and labor relations activities of Warwick Hotel.

Undertake any other reasonable duty assigned by your Department Head and/or Resort Manager and/or his appointed Assistant
To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel's staff handbook and the regulations contained therein.
To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Resort's policy relating to fire, health and hygiene, cyclone and safety procedures.

 

Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role:

Tertiary qualifications in HR or related field preferred, however not essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
An outgoing personality with strong attention to detail.
Proven administrative, organizational and time management skills.
The adaptability to build strong internal and external working relationships.
Minimum of 5 years' experience
Previous experience delivering the HR function within a Hotel environment is desirable, however not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
The position of Financial Controller manages the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department.  Primary responsibilities include financial analysis and financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, audit and control, asset and liability reconciliation, working capital and cash control.  The role has dual reporting responsibility to the Resort General Manager and Regional Financial Controller (RFC).  Responsibilities include:

• Maintenance of accurate general ledger, receivables, payables, stock, payroll systems;
• Timely preparation of monthly financial statements, cash flows, and forecasts;
• Preparation of annual budget;
• Maintenance of internal controls including cost and credit controls;
• Daily cash flow and working capital management;
• Supervision, development and upskilling of the finance team;
• Execute timely and accurate preparation of annual statutory financial statements;
• Oversee internal, external and regulatory audit processes;
• Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, encourage others;
• Support financial/business decision making, demonstrating honesty/integrity, leads by example;
• Support and attend Ad-hoc projects as assigned and/or required by the RFC.

Key Responsibilities:

Overview of Role:
-Direct and oversee all food and Beverage aspects, including planning and service, menu planning and costing, preparation and presentation of food and drinks, maintaining adherence to quality and safety standards.
-Actively support implementation of Food & Beverage standards and F&B Strategy for all hotels/resorts
-Lead, develop and guide F&B Managers to drive product and support team skills
-Actively drive hotel/resort brand, high quality in F&B and service standards

Duties & Responsibilities
Planning
-Focus on maximizing profitability and meeting F&B profit budget, carry out audits to achieve this
-Monitor and ensure management of labour cost across all F&B outlets
-Evaluate new F&B trends and competitor products offered and strategize to match or exceed
-Continuously collect, analyse and follow up on departmental marketing plans for all outlets

Organizing
-Ensure the highest standards of quality across all outlets driving brand values and standards
-Actively support F&B teams, provide concept clarity for pre and post opening where applicable
-Responsible for hands-on implementation of all F&B concepts and standards across all outlets
-Monitor standard compliance and progress and compile reports F&B Teams
-Review food and beverage forecasts and budgets as well as food and beverage pricing and approve any changes

Directing
-Support key projects through data analysis, consultation of key operational issues with the resort and build financial models to assist decision-making
-Review food and beverage collaterals and promotional material for internal and external use
-Review menus and drinks listing including, menu engineering, merchandising, menu item selection, writing style, cover and arrangements
-Co-ordinate special events, festivals and joint promotions as area marketing plan initiative
-Review compliance of all F&B programs and related procurement programs

Health, Safety, Security
-Lead, guide the security of goods and safety of personnel in the department(s) including required training and implementation
-Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness promoting safety at all times
-Lead and Oversee training of employees on all standard operating procedures, including safety procedures and equipment
-Always check well that for any kind of work you are going to intervene on, there is no rick for the safety of people and goods
-Ensure pandemic safe practices are activated and adhered to strictly

Staff Welfare & Development
- Ensure job descriptions and 'standard operating procedures' are kept current and updated per changes in work practices.
- Ensure staff possess the necessary qualifications, skills, develop talent within F&B teams and develop strategy to attract new talent
- -Reinforce area learning and development F&B programs to ensure well-training employees
- Provide input to F&B succession plan and recommend candidates for promotion and transfers
- -Ensure staff conformity to standard staff rules and regulations in the course of their daily duties
- Performance Management- Carry out annual Performance appraisals for all direct reports
- Adhere to and ensure direct reports adherence ( timeliness and forms) to grievance, Disciplinary procedures
- Document all department trainings conducted, tracked against an annual department training calendar, ensuring staff acknowledgement prior to sending it to the Training Dept for records
