The Vanuatu Humanitarian Team (VHT) is a collaborative project set up by a range of humanitarian actors (UN Agencies, INGO’s, NGO’s and the Red Cross) and working closely with the NDMO and other key government agencies. It has been developed as a result of real time learning from the response on two recent tropical cyclones. This position will be

accountable for the strategic leadership of the VHT, developing VHT plan, ensuring protocols in place, recruiting and mentoring the national VHT coordinator, leading the design and implementation of key projects and building good working relationships with NDMO, VHT members, donors and other stakeholders. This position is open to candidates of

all nationalities and it’s a 9 month contract.
