Job Desctiption:
Pacific Energy (PE) in PORT-VILA invites applications from suitable qualified persons for the position of Terminal Supervisor to be based at Whitegrass Airport in Tanna.
Purpose of Role:
To supervise all operations at PE Terminal in Tanna.
To coordinate ship discharge, delivery operations, maintenance activities, stock controls and reporting under the supervision of the Operations Manager.
Additionally, to ensure PE compliances with local authorities.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Manage operations of Tanna Terminal
• Supervise ship discharge
• Supervise deliveries
• Manage stocks
• Supervise and coordinate the maintenance system
• Ensure that the terminal complies with Pacific Energy standards.
• Supervise all HSSE activities on site
Secondary Responsibility:
• Public relationship with the local authorities, customers and the community
Selection Criteria:
Qualification / experience:
• Mechanical or Engineering qualifications / background
• Minimum of 3 years experience.
Special skills:
• Valid driving license
• Team Leader
• Can work under pressure
• Computer literate
• No restriction on working days and hours
Language:
Fluent in English or French and Bislama
