Centre Managers(Loan Officers)
Recruits, trains and works with women who run their own small businesses. Having good endurance, he/she drives every day to different villages throughout Efate to implement our program by conducting group meetings which runs up to 1 hour. He/She is articulate and comfortable speaking to large groups of women. He/She is respectful by displaying the ability and willingness to get along well with women of various social classes and educational abilities.
Main Duties
Recruit and train new client members
Prepare loan applications and make loan assessments for small businesses
Collect weekly repayments
Maintain good loan portfolio quality and control.
Selection Criteria:
Reside in or near Emua Village (or willing to do so)
Must possess a valid driver's license
At least year 12 with 2 years of work experience in a community, commercial banking or banking organization with demonstrated success and progress well regarded
Social work experience would be well regarded
Experience with women's groups and committees also well regarded
Ability to relate to and promote the social mission of SPBD whilst enforcing and complying with commercial disciplines
Applicants with Certificate or Diploma in Business or Accounting is preferred.
Fluent in both Bislama and English.

The Secretary General's role is outlined in Article 33 of the Constitution of Vanuatu Red Cross Society (VRCS). This job description expands that outline.The Secretary General is responsible for implementing the general policy and decisions made by the National Board.
