The Vanuatu National Provident Fund (VNPF) was established under the VNPF Act [CAP 189] to provide security for workers during their working life and into retirement

 

Job Desctiption:

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior System Administrator to join the Fund.

Reporting to the Executive Manager responsible for the Information Communication and Technology (ICT), the position will focus on maintaining, upgrading and manage the ICT software, hardware and networks to ensure efficiency of the ICT infrastructure runs smoothly.  
                                                                                                                     
Responsibilities:

• Installing and configuring software, hardware and networks
• Monitor system performance and troubleshooting issues
• ICT trouble shooting to ensure ICT network and hardware are up running
• Assist Team Leader ICT in managing complex ICT infrastructure
• Produce timely reports to the Team Leader ICT  
• Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor

 

Selection Criteria:

Requirements:
 
• 5 years' work experience as a senior system administrator or similar role in Information Communication Technology department  
• Bachelor Degree in Computing Science or similar field
• Good Problem solving and communication skills
• Computer literate, have analytical, and Positive attitude and a team player    
• Must be confident and able to work under pressure
• Demonstrates high ethical standards of behaviour
• Passion for excellence and potential to develop further

Reporting to Team Leader Administration, this position provides the successful candidate with an exciting platform for professional security protection, safeguarding, security of properties, staff, customers and all visitors at VNPF premises.

 

Selection Criteria:

With your secondary education with minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar or office work environment, you will be responsible to enforce policies and procedures in relation to security and safety and at the same time maintain good interpersonal skills, open communication with employees and employers. If you think you are the best fit for this position, submit your application with a valid police clearance and three recent referees from current and past employment.
