Communication and Logistics Assistant
The French Embassy in Port Vila is looking for a Communications and Logistics Assistant
attached to the Cooperation and Action Department.
Tasks: Communication: Preparation and implementation of the Embassy's communication:
Management of the website and the Facebook page (updating, statistical analysis, writing of articles and interviews)
Management of press relations (relations with media, coverage of embassy events , writing of press releases, preparation of communication dossiers , website elements, embassy Facebook page, news briefs, traditional media monitoring and watch, and social networks.
Management of cultural events (organization, promotion and collaboration with
cultural partners).

Audiovisual production (production or production of videos on the actions of the Embassy)
Logistics: Logistical
organization of activities and events of the embassy (races, travel by vehicle etc.)
Desired profile:
Holder of the driving license
Holder of a training Bac + 2 or 3 (sales assistant, media, assistant manager)
French and English fluent; desired bichelamar; excellent mastery of written French
Mastery of office tools and social networks
Mastery of interviewing techniques (recording, transcribing, translation, illustration)
Mastery of audiovisual production tools (taking pictures and sound, video editing software)
Your relational ease, your dynamism and your versatility allow you to be quickly autonomous.
Desired start date: September 2018
Desired flexibility to be able to participate in events organized by the embassy in the evening (receptions, exhibitions, etc.)
Monthly starting salary: 96 000 vatus + transport premium + medical cover

Tâches:
Communication:
Préparation et mise en oeuvre de la communication de l’ambassade :
Gestion du site Internet et de la page Facebook (mise à jour, analyse statistiques, rédaction
d’articles et d’interviews)
Gestion des relations presses (relations avec les media ; couverture des événements ambassade ; rédaction des communiqués de presse ; préparation des dossiers de communication, des éléments pour site web, page Facebook ambassade, brèves ; suivi/veille média classiques et réseaux sociaux).
Gestion d’événements culturels (organisation, promotion et collaboration avec des partenaires culturels).
Production audiovisuelle (réalisation ou production de vidéos sur les actions de l’Ambassade)

Profil souhaité:
Titulaire du permis de conduire
Titulaire d'une formation Bac+2 ou 3 (assistant commercial, média, assistant manager)
Français et anglais courants ; bichelamar souhaité ; excellente maîtrise du français écrit
Maitrise des outils bureautiques et des réseaux sociaux
Maîtrise des techniques d’interviews (enregistrement, retranscription, traduction, illustration)
Maîtrise des outils de réalisation audiovisuelle (prise d’images et son, logiciel de montage vidéo)
Votre aisance relationnelle, votre dynamisme et votre polyvalence vous permettent d'être rapidement autonome.

Selection Criteria
|
You must have the
following qualifications, skills and experience:
• A relevant tertiary qualification and at least three years relevant professional experience including experience in emergency response and recovery; • An understanding of development principles including sustainability, gender, human rights, and environmental issues; • An understanding of Vanuatu local governmental and administrative systems, customs and practices, trends and issues, and cultural, political and social environments; • An understanding of humanitarian and disaster management architecture in Vanuatu, including the humanitarian cluster system; • Well-developed planning and organisational skills, including the ability to work under pressure and to prioritise tasks effectively to deliver quality work on time; • Excellent written and oral communication skills; • Excellent relationship management skills and experience; • Competent in the Microsoft Office suite; • Understanding of budget and financial management; |
