Head Chef
Controlling and directing the food preparation process and any other relative activities
Constructing menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the
variety and quality of the servings
Approving and “polishing” dishes before they reach the customer
Job brief We are looking for an experienced and qualified Head Chef to organize the kitchen’s activities. You will be the first in command in the facilities and will create and inspect dishes before they arrive at the customers ensuring high quality and contentment. Job Description
|
The local procurement
officer will support Dynamic staff to roll out the New Zealand Ministry of
Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) funded local procurement project. The
officer will be required to develop and implement project policy and
procedure, develop and manage supplier contracts, develop produce
specifications and post-harvest requirements and volume predictions, order
and price stock based on market demand, and monitor financial systems. The
officer will be required to engage with stakeholders including private
sector, NGO, community and government.

Criteria
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in agriculture, sustainability, community development or similar. • Minimum 5 years experience in project management, including skills in project design and development, financial management and budgeting, logistics and M&E. • Demonstrated understanding of the agriculture sector in Vanuatu. • Experience working with MFAT or simular development agencies, NGOs and community groups. • Sound problem solving and decision-making skills; • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bislama and English • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team; and • Experience in the Pacific, preferably Vanuatu, will be highly desirable. |
