Job Description
|
The local procurement
officer will support Dynamic staff to roll out the New Zealand Ministry of
Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) funded local procurement project. The
officer will be required to develop and implement project policy and
procedure, develop and manage supplier contracts, develop produce
specifications and post-harvest requirements and volume predictions, order
and price stock based on market demand, and monitor financial systems. The
officer will be required to engage with stakeholders including private
sector, NGO, community and government.

Criteria
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in agriculture, sustainability, community development or similar. • Minimum 5 years experience in project management, including skills in project design and development, financial management and budgeting, logistics and M&E. • Demonstrated understanding of the agriculture sector in Vanuatu. • Experience working with MFAT or simular development agencies, NGOs and community groups. • Sound problem solving and decision-making skills; • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bislama and English • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team; and • Experience in the Pacific, preferably Vanuatu, will be highly desirable. |

Job Description
|
Responsible to the
General Manager through Finance Manager in performing the following duties;
Control and Maintenance of SPBD Properties Statistical Reporting Software System Maintenance (CommonCents) Account Reconciliations Salaries and Wages Internal Audit and Control Assist Finance Manager in carrying out required specific responsibilities as required from time to time, for internal audit and control Coordinate quarterly transactional audit with external auditors as directed by Finance Manager Assist Finance Manager with annual external audits Public Relation Coordinate and organize special events Website Management Other Duties Any other duties as directed from time to time by FAM or the General Manager |

• Responsible for tailoring client experience, being perceptive and responsive to needs, listening, and showing enthusiasm for the product and quality for Mia Bridal & Fashion. • Use expertise with all garment fittings, marks on garments, construction, and little knowledge of fabrics, styling and manufacturing techniques. • Deliver advice on the product, providing accurate lead times and cost estimates to ensure expectations are managed. • Draw and cut patterns as needed and according to specifications. • Alter clothing to fit individual needs. Examine and repair garments following alteration tags and understand marks on garments. Ability to understand alteration tags and marks on garments to ascertain necessary alterations. • Perform and complete fittings and deliver quality workmanship on both minor and major types of alterations according to Mia Bridal & Fashion standards. • Organize workload and complete items on time. • Demonstrate proficiency in operating all tailor shop equipment. Job Requirements • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in seamstress/tailoring. • Experience working with clients both male and female. • Discretion and confidentiality. • Possession of strong technical background in specialty skills such as, sewing difficult materials, making a collar, pants pockets, buttonholes etc. is preferable. • Possession of pressing and quality control skills. • Knowledge of alterations including fabrications and styling of luxury merchandise. • Demonstrate strong business judgment, creativity, and organizational ability. • Fast-paced, well-organized and able to juggle multiple priorities at once • Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate and write clearly. Fluency in other languages will be considered a plus • Must possess superb interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues. • High level of ownership, accountability and initiative. • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment with limited supervision. • Open to learning and developing new skills and processes. • Flexibility to work a retail schedule which will include evenings, weekends and public holidays depending on orders. |
