Job Description
|
This is a part-time position that
is only open to Ni-Vanuatu candidates. 5 years minimum professional
experience is required. This role answers directly to the Hotel Manager and
the Hotel Owners as required. Whilst this is not a management position, the
role requires managing information and procedures that are crucial to the
operation of the hotel. As such, only candidates who can clearly demonstrate
their abilities will be considered.
Responsibilities: • Responding to guest enquiries over the phone and via email. • Entering, adjusting reservations on hotel management program • Greeting, checking in and checking out guests • Creating invoices using accounting software • Assist the hotel manager as required • Assist with various other office and site tasks such as taking inventories and tidying. • Regularly using excel spreadsheets to summarize information between manager and owners |

Minimum Requirements:
• Education: Year 12 or more • Available to work Saturdays, Sundays and Public holidays as required. • Outgoing and cheerful, nice manner with people. • Neat and tidy appearance • Reliable with a good work ethic and very honest. Skills: • Excellent spoken and written English, good verbal/spoken French will be a plus. • Advanced skills in using Microsoft Excel and Outlook. • Advanced accounting software skills (Xero experience is a bonus) • Excellent attention to detail. The following abilities will be assessed via interview: • Understand guest’s / travel agent’s requests • Understand pricing and rates • Understand distribution channels & associated price levels • Understand accounting principles • Capacity to be rigorous • Capacity to be productive • Ability to analyse information and summaries clearly |

40,000 – 60,000 salary, part-time, depending skills and previous experience.

Job Description

The spa therapist is to provide and maintain the
highest standard of personal appearance, hygiene and customer service,
offering quality treatments, providing in depth knowledge and advice in
respect of Spa procedures and products. Spa Therapists are to promote
positive images of the hotel, being pleasant, friendly and able to address
problems or special requests made by guests.

Selection Criteria

• Proven work experience as a Spa
therapist
• Hands on experience in massage techniques • Experience in sales will be considered an asset • Excellent knowledge of English language • Communication and customer service skills is a must • Positive attitude • Highly motivated and passionate about the job and his/her career in the resort. |

The selected Programs Officer will
report to the KOBLE Coordinator and Board, and will:
• Assist in the supervision and provide support to KOBLE local and international volunteers. • Liaise with CSOs, government officials, donors and other stakeholders on behalf of KOBLE, as required by the Coordinator. • Assist with the Coordination and planning, design and implementation of workshops, training consultations surveys, research and capacity strengthening measures for KOBLE ’s members and constituency • Provide support to KOBLE in the implementation of its programs towards the achievement of KOBLE ’s objectives • Assist in capacity development and institutional strengthening initiatives for KOBLE as required • Assist the Coordinator to produce quality reports, policy briefs, project proposals, case studies and other education advocacy materials as requested by KOBLE on aspects of education and education aid • Ensure careful management and acquittal of the program and finances and assist the timely preparation of program narrative • Participate in lobbying and advocacy initiatives as required, and in line with the vision of KOBLE as stipulated in its constitution. • Write monthly Press Releases |

Selection Criteria

The successful applicant will:
• Sound knowledge of Vanuatu and Pacific education issues • Strong experience in development program administration • Experience in lobbying and policy analysis and advocacy would be desirable • Experience in writing reports and proposals and developing budgets would be desirable • Experience working with CSOs at a national level is preferable • Experience as a community based educator / facilitator and familiarity with participatory learning approaches would be an advantage |
