Job Description
|
The Deputy F &A M’s job is to
lead SPBD’s finance and administrative operations. The Deputy F&AM has
the overall responsibility for the four general areas: financial management
& reporting, human resources management, information technology and
support operations. The Deputy F&AM ensures that the Finance &
Administration Team is client-focus and client-responsive.
FINANCE MANAGEMENT & REPORTING AREA • Manage SPBD finances, budgets, banking accounts • Perform financial analysis, provide solutions/recommendations and implement approved changes • Coordinate the timely preparation of periodic financial statements • Coordinate the timely preparation of all relevant statistical reports • Manage relevant audit • Conduct financial planning activities • Ensure strict application and compliance of financial management policies, procedures & controls • Coordinate staff workload HUMAN RESOURCES AREA • Administer and manage all payroll and benefits • Maintain and update personnel policies • Human resources management INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AREA • Manage key Management Information Systems SUPPORT OPERATIONS AREA • Ensure effective use and management of SPBD property • Manage the competitive procurement process for all relevant purchases • Assist Relationship Manager in performing loan assessment and fund allocation process • Assist General Manager in fund raising activities • Assist General Manager in public relations activities • Assist General Manager in providing support services to SPBD Advisory Board • Lead the Office in the absence of both GM and President • Perform any other duties as directed by the GM. |

Criteria:
Minimum Qualifications/Experience • At least 3 years’ experience in the area of accounting/finance management • Ideally certified accountant • Very good understanding of financial reporting and tax requirements in relationship with operations and human resources • Must possess a valid driver’s license • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English |

The Vanuatu Tourism Office has a
short term contract position available to assist with the co-ordination of
the premier travel trade event for Vanuatu which will be held between 27
August and 31st August .
TOK TOK brings together international travel trade to Vanuatu to meet with local tourism suppliers and discuss business opportunities while expressing Vanuatu. The TOK TOK Co-ordination will be required to: - a) Liaison with host property b) Co-ordination of logistics relating to TOK TOK c) Co-ordination and support of appointment schedule development and distribution d) Liaison with international teams to co-ordinate details of buyers e) Co-ordination of events related to TOK TOK f) Work with sponsors to ensure they receive the all sponsorship commitments The project co-ordinator role be for an initial 20 per week and this may increase as the event gets closer.
