Job Description:
Role Purpose:
The Finance Manager is responsible for the management of all in country financial and administrative systems, financial reporting and line management of the finance team. He/She will assist external financial relationships (including donors and Live & Learn partners) and participate in the management of quality and risk. A core responsibility is the capacity building of staff to familiarise them with the policies and procedures of the organisation.

Key Areas of Accountability:
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded efficiently and accurately and ensure they are in line with Live & Learn Financial Manual, GPM donors' requirements and reporting deadlines
  • Prepare and review budget estimates for projects, and prepare the operating budget for the office. Prepare cash flow forecast in both project and operating levels
  • Provide financial management advice on revisions and budgets, preparing periodical forecasts and changes needed
  • Monitor petty cash and bank accounts balance and ensure sufficient funds are always available depending on the programme needs
  • Monthly financial reporting to head office and donors 
  • Ensure project advances are settled and reconciled regularly
  • Manage fixed asset register in line with donor requirements and the LLEE Finance Manual

  • Any other duties assigned by management team or Board.

              Job Description:
              Le Ministère de l'Éducation et de la Formation (MoET) lance une manifestation  d’intérêt à toutes les personnes qualifiées qui peuvent s’ajouter au registre des concepteurs potentiels pour aider le Centre de Recherche et de Documentation Pédagogique (CRDP) à élaborer des matériels de soutien pour le programme des années 4 à 6.

              Les matériels de soutien sont conçus pour aider les enseignants à mettre en œuvre le programme dans les salles de classe. Ils fournissent des informations sur les stratégies d'enseignement et d'apprentissage, les approches d'évaluation et les idées pour la planification des leçons.

              Les concepteurs utiliseront les conditions prescrites pour concevoir le matériel pour chaque domaine d'apprentissage et pour chacun des trois niveaux. Ils travailleront sous la supervision des coordonnateurs responsables des domaines spécifiques d'apprentissage au Centre de Recherche et de Documentation Pédagogique (CRDP).

              L’objectif  principal est de concevoir les versions anglaise et française des guides pédagogiques pour les années 4 à 6.

              Chaque concepteur est tenu de développer pour son domaine d'apprentissage la version anglaise ou française du guide de l'enseignant qui comprend:
              1. Une description de la structure du domaine d'apprentissage et une explication de la façon dont on  Ã©labore une progression et planifie des leçons en se basant sur les programmes scolaires;
              2. Des exemples de planification et de programmation à partir des compétences des programmes scolaires;
              3. Des exemples de stratégies d'évaluation;
              4. Des exemples de stratégies d'enseignement et d'apprentissage centrées sur l'étudiant;
              5. Une ébauche finale d'un guide de l'enseignant pour le domaine d'apprentissage qui intègre  la rétroaction des processus d’expérimentation et de l’évaluation par les pairs.
              Conditions
              L'engagement peut être détaché temporairement d'un poste actuel dans une école ou par un contrat à court terme pour une période de 6 mois, avec une prolongation possible de 6 mois supplémentaires.

              Les concepteurs seront  au sein du CRDP et s'attendront  à ce qu'ils travaillent suivant les horaires de de la fonction publique de 7 h 30 à 16 h 30.

              La première ronde des nominations est prévue pour la période du lundi 18 janvier au 30 juin 2017.

              Une prorogation peut être accordée jusqu'au 31 décembre si les résultats ont été satisfaisants au cours des six premiers mois.
