	The Position
	The Human Resource Manager will assist the CEO in strengthening its HR capability through developing and implementing new improved HR policies, processes and systems to support its workforce and ensure compliance with Civil Aviation regulations.
	Essential Selection Criteria
	► Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or other relevant field of study.
	► Minimum 5 years experience in HR management roles.
	► Experience in developing and implementing HR initiatives.
	► Fluency in Bislama and excellent English language skills
	► Clear Police record
	Desirable Selection Criteria
	► Experience supporting managers in delivering effective HR solutions.
	► Excellent knowledge and skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint.
	► Confident and effective communication and interpersonal skills with managers and staff of all levels.

Job Description:  Vanuatu Red Cross Society, working jointly with the support of the Australian Red Cross, is seeking applications for a dynamic and highly motivated person to immediately fill the position of Livelihoods, Gender & Child Protection Supervisor to join its VRCS team in Port Vila. VRCS is an organisation involved in emergency, early recovery and development programs. Therefore, all VRCS staff have to be available at any time in order to respond to any emergency work, should the need arise. All Vanuatu Red Cross staff must agree to and sign the Child Protection Policy and Code of Conduct as well as providing a current police clearance. This is a condition of employment.
