The successful person that we're looking to
recruit will fulfill the following duty requirements:
- Work directly with the Managing Director to exceed monthly sales goals
- Prepare and sell events packages based on the client needs
- Promptly respond to guest inquiries from the website and reply all emails and
telephone calls within the same business day
- Responsible for preparing, printing and distributing function orders and weekly
calendar of events to all key staff and departments to ensure flawless event
execution
- Take the initiative to develop and improve sales skills
- Pro-actively contact all previous clients to ensure client retention
- Demonstrate a strong ability to up-sell banquet items
- Follow all standard procedures and policies in handling reservations. Ensure deposits,
contracts and local purchase orders (LPO) are signed, received and recorded timely
and accurately
- Manage functions desk folios and ensures that all payments are received,
computed and receipted accordingly
- Assist with all special events sales, set up and service as required
- Maintain favorable working relationship with team members to foster and promote
a cooperative working environment
- Perform other duties as assigned to.
- Minimum of one year events/meetings coordinating
in a hotel or resort
- Possess the skills and knowledge of hotel front office and reservations
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
- Be willing to work long hours during busy period
- Be punctual and trustworthy.
