Project Coordinator with the Tropical Cyclone Pam Recovery project for the Vanuatu Red Cross Society (VRCS) could be the position for you.

You job will involve assisting the Australian Red Cross Senior Recovery Advisor in supporting the VRCS (as part of the Red Cross Movement coordinated operation) across the TC Pam Red Cross recovery operations in Vanuatu.

This will involve focusing on providing support to the most vulnerable people and communities affected by TC Pam to help them recover from the effects of this disaster and to achieve healthier, safer, more protected and sustainable lives.

Roles
  • Support the continued development of the ARC/VRCS TC Pam Vanuatu recovery program, (across all localities for activities) including overseeing timelines, activity plans, ongoing community needs assessments, budgets, risk assessments, reporting and implementation in consultation with VRCS and all Red Cross partners
  • Provide support to the TC Pam Red Cross team including VRCS headquarters and branches
  • Work with child protection, gender and inclusion personnel to ensure that project design promotes safety, inclusion and equality for all
  • Work with monitoring, evaluation, and reporting personnel through a participatory process to assist in implementing the framework that includes success measures, defined by stakeholders and the affected population.
