The Vanuatu National Cultural Council is seeking to recruit a highly qualified and experienced person to fill the above position. Key Duties & Responsibilities in this role include: Manage the day-to-day running of the Vanuatu Cultural Centre Manage the day-to-day financial running of the Cultural Centre on advice from the Vanuatu National Cultural Council (VNCC) and the Accountant Oversee the development and ongoing implementation of the Cultural Centre's Corporate Plan, Annual Work Plans and Annual Report Coordinate Cultural Centre Liaisons with Governement, Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) and the private sector Develop and acquire funding for Cultural Centre programs Manage work program and project of the Cultural Centre Facilitate the development of culture and Cultural centre policy Assist the Director of the VNCC in coordinating cutlural reserach programs Ensure enforcement of Traditional Copyright practice Assist in the organization of exhibitions, workshops, conferences and other Cultural Centre functions Perform other duties as required by the VNCC or the government of the day. Criteria: Has related tertiary qualifications or any relevant degree Minimum of over 5 years experience in a Senior Management position Has good background knowledge of Vanuatu Customs, Cultures and Traditions Excellent communication skills including a high level of proficiency in oral and written English and Bislama (proficiency in French would also be desirable) Good analytical and research skills  Higher degree of integrity.

The salary scale for the above post is based on a Public Service starting scale of AS-3.5 Annual Salary of Vt.1.234800 plus other benefits.
