We are currently seeking a suitable candidate for the following position:
VHW Resource and Curriculum Development Adviser
Key purpose of this position
To review the existing VHW and Aid Post materials and to develop the complete suite of the resources for the village Health Worker Program (VHWP) in Vanuatu.
The role of the VHW Resource & Curriculum Adviser will be to:
- Facilitate and lead a technical consultation team compromising representatives from the Save the Children, Ministry of Health and other health development partners to:
- Conduct a consultative review of existing VHW and Aid post resources
- Revise and/or develop VHW and Aid post resources including VHW SoW/manual, AP manual supervisory structure and checklist, VHW health promotion materials in line with up-to-date standards and best practice
- Revise and update pre service and in service training module, lesson plans, and support resources for Village Health Workers and relevant Ministry of Health staff.
All staff are required to undergo a police check before commencement of employment.
