Peace Corps Vanuatu wishes to recruit five Ni-Vanuatu persons for the short-term position of Language, Culture and Technical Trainers (LCTT5).

The contract will commence on Monday, September 17, 2012 and will finish on Friday December 14, 2012. Selected candidates will be required to live in a village with a host family for most of the contract period. A statement of work can be obtained from the Peace Corps office, located in the Vila Mall building.

Duties and responsibilities:

1) The LCTTs will provide Bislama language training to the new Peace Corps Volunteers while facilitating their understanding of Vanuatu’s culture

2) The LCTTs will also assist with the facilitation of basic technical skill competencies, specific to the volunteer assignment, therefore experience in the education, health and business development sector is advantageous.
