Opportunity for a Relationship Manager for ANZ Bank, Vanuatu. Duties and responsibilities:

1) Maintain and develop client relationships (small/medium business) in a multicultural society to sustain profitability by providing superior customer service, maintaining a detailed understanding of client business and financial services needs, developing and actively seeking referrals and developing new client prospects

2) Efficiently and effectively manage small/medium business credit risk by actively identifying and assessing all risk inherent in credit exposures, ensuring data integrity of accounts and ensuring compliance with group credit and regulatory reporting requirements

3) Ensure early identification of problem accounts, maximization of recovery of bas/doubtful debts by being directly involved/supervising/guiding subordinates in asset management techniques

4) Plan manage and execute a strategy to achieve profit and quality of service superior to competitors in conjunction with head of commercial & institutional banking

5) Manage the ongoing performance of staff through the provision of coaching, feedback and guidance

6) Ensure the sharing of “best practice” by embracing and supporting change and gaining the commitment of staff through involvement.
