| The Government of Vanuatu is implementing the Support to Non State Actors and Community based Organizations III (NSA III) programme, funded by the European Union and is seeking to recruit for the position mentioned. The PMU staffs will be employed directly by the Government of Vanuatu represented by the National Authorizing Officer. All claims |

| Within the Project Management Unit, he/she will have the following responsibilities: |
| 1) The preparation, administrative and financial management of the annual programme estimates in compliance with standard EDF procedures |
| 2) Setting-up an internal monitoring and evaluation system |
| 3) Reporting to the NAO and the Project Steering Committee |
| 4) He/she will be assist to the redaction of the technical and operational parts of the programme estimates and assist to submit the annual programme estimate for approval |
| 5) He/she will contribute to the reporting as requested by the Supervisors and by the EDF Guidelines on the Management of Programme Estimates |
| 6) Regular field visits throughout Vanuatu will be required. |
| Interested applicant must possess the following: |
| Criteria: |
| - Must hold a University Degree (or similar institution); A minimum of 10 years relevant professional experience is required; The candidate must have proven experience at management level in donors’ |
| funded projects; Experience in administration, coordination or management role in NGOs, government, community development initiative is needed |
| - Financial and budget management experience; Proficient in English and in French with a sound working knowledge of the other language; Ability to produce reports and documents efficiently and |
| accurately, in both English and French; Computer skills across the range of current software (esp. Excel, Words and Power Point) |
| - An understanding of and willingness to work in a team in a coordinating role; Proven knowledge of the EDF procedures is an essential; Being fluent in spoken Bislama is an asset; An in-depth |
| knowledge of Vanuatu and current status of communities throughout the country is an asset. |
