| The Early Childhood Education (ECE) Program Manager is a key position on Vanuatu’s Senior Management team. The primary function of this role will be to ensure the successful implementation of the Save the Children’s Early Childhood Education program and the delivery of outcomes in partnership with the Ministry of Education (MoE). We work with |
| children, communities and governments all over the world and we believe in the right person for the job regardless of where you come from and how you identify yourself. | 1) Lead and manage SCA’s education program team |
| 2) Report to the Country Director |
| 3) Manage the development, growth and partnerships which relate to the ECE program |
| 4) Provide strong strategic, technical and program implementation support |
| 5) Provide guidance, management and capacity building of local SCA, national and provincial staff. |
| Interested applicant must possess the following requirements: |
| Criteria: |
| - Exceptional people management abilities; Clear technical ECE understanding and advisory capacity; Combined strategic skills and practical education program implementation experience |
| - Demonstrated advocacy, communications and representation skills in the education sector; Pacific experience- especially working closely with national ministries. |
