The Foundation for the Peoples of the South Pacific (FSP) Vanuatu is the oldest local not for-profit organization in Vanuatu. Promoting sustainable social, economic and environmental development and working on improving and promoting equal participation and fair treatment of all people, while conserving the unique cultural identities of Vanuatu. FSP is currently

seeking a qualified person for its top position: Management Team Leader. The Management Team Leader will co-manage FSP with other management team members and will oversee the implementation of the Coastal Program.

FSP is now seeking a suitable and qualified person for the position of Management Team Leader with the following requirements.

A copy of the job description is available from FSP’s office at Namburu. FSP will only respond to selected candidates.

Criteria:

- A recognized qualification in organizational management and/or community development

- Excellent writing and communication skills; Good knowledge and skill in computing i.e MSWord Windows, Excel, PowerPoint etc.; A minimum of 3 years field work experience in community development and

organizational management

- Good project management skills i.e project report writing, project budgeting and acquittals; Experience in project proposal writing; Possess good facilitation and negotiation skills

- Good leadership skills i.e ability to co-manage an organization, work in a team-environment and execute management team decisions; Ability to establish good network and relationship with donors, partners

and communities

- Able to travel out to the outer islands and the region; Available to commence work in December 2009 will be a bonus
