• Work with hand tools and basic light machinery;
• Service all garden equipment and machinery;
• Maintain a clean garden by clearing rubbish and litter from the garden and grounds.
• Provide guidance to management on matters related to the garden.
• Advise management on the costs of plants and garden necessities with detailed written quotations and reports.
• Ensure a safe environment for staff and clients by adhering to safety and health regulations.

 

Selection Criteria:

1. Vanuatu Citizen.
2. Year 10 Certificate.
3. Minimum 3 years' experience. Experience in basic repair and/or Building Construction will be an advantage.
4. Ability to manage your time efficiently.

6. Initiate new activities;
7. Advertise and promote all activities of the Centre;
8. Work with Technical Director for all tennis activities;
9. Report to VTF Board.

 

Selection Criteria:

1. Vanuatu Citizen
2. Year 13 Certificate with preferably Accounting and Business studies OR Certificate 3 in Accounting and Business Management;
3. Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position;
4. Fluent in English, French and Bislama. Mandarin a critical advantage;
5. IT Literate with preferably knowledge to use XERO Accounting Software
6. Highly reliable and creative.

Investigate any discrepancies or anomalies in stock levels, invoices, or product codes, and work with relevant teams to resolve these issues promptly.
Assist the Purchasing Officer and storeman in day-to-day tasks, including placing orders, tracking deliveries, and communicating with suppliers & internal teams
Gradually take on more responsibilities related to purchasing, with the potential to handle purchasing duties independently over time.
Generate and maintain reports related to stock levels, purchasing activities, and any identified discrepancies.

Storeman (1 Position)
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory control , Maintains proper storage of all goods in their pre-designated areas
Keeps storerooms organised and clean for proper storage
Maintains cleanliness of storerooms daily
Unpacks all goods for proper distribution and able to lift, carry and move items
Monitors Par level for each items, ensures stock cards are up-to-date, checks on goods for damaged stock, expiry dates and reports it to the Purchasing Manager
Stocks departmental stocks when order is issued and approved by authorised individual
Inspects all store rooms, fridges and freezers on a regular basis, and reports irregularities to Controller
Ensure Workplace health and safety compliance and reports all potential and real hazards appropriately
Follow directions of the Purchasing Manager

 

Selection Criteria:

One year plus of previous experience in same area is preferred
Driving licence is an added advantage
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Collect payment from guests
Coordinate all details leading up to and including the day of event. To include planning of ceremonies, menus, beverages, flowers, cakes, entertainment, photographers, floor plans, etc.
Prepare Event Orders for distribution. Communicate and confirm any event changes with the appropriate staff.
Order necessities for events such as linens, cakes, flowers, etc.
Assist guests in decorating the events as needed.
Ensure each event has the appropriate audio/visual equipment as requested.
Complete Event Orders with guaranteed counts, settle any financial debts or credits. Mail thank you letters along with a guest questionnaire.
Look out for the safety of our staff and guests.
Ensure that our guests enjoy their stay with us.
Must be very flexible with your schedule.
Works closely with the F&B Department and other colleagues
Participate in weekly Credit meeting and submitting of reports on timely manner and addressing issues and concerns
Participate in weekly BEO Meetings, addressing issues and concerns
Be on site to execute assigned events.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Selection Criteria:

Relevant Certificate and qualification preferred but not required
Minimum of 1 year experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Working understanding of sales and marketing principles, practices and procedures

Generate ad-hoc reports as needed.
Communicate and enforce HR policies across the organization.
Assist in additional task and other HR projects and support other functions as needed.

 

Selection Criteria:

Relevant Certificate and qualification preferred but not required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills with professionalism
Knowledge of general human resources processes and best practices
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures
