Job Desctiption:
Leadership of a discipline of projects for the branch including development of capability and capacity to mee the market demand.
Leadership of a project team to achieve the project goals including delivering the specified project requirements, the bid margin and completion on or before time.
Identification and management of risks including threats and opportunities to maximize the outcome from a project for the business.
Development of positive and enduring relationships with external parties involved in a project including clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
Completion of the work with zero harm to staff, the public and the environment
Track and own prospects through Pacificon/salesforce for their discipline responsibility and development of plan for forward work.
Selection Criteria:
Applicants must have at least 15yrs experience with a tertiary qualification in engineering and a least relevant experience in civil engineering construction relevant to the value of the contract. A significant part of that experience should be on construction sites responsible for the workforce, subcontractors, plant, materials and resources. Excellent skills in communication, construction planning, engineering and delivering on commercial outcomes are required. A key part of the role will include the ability to lead and manage others to deliver on project objectives.
