At least 5 years or more working experience at a senior level, five or more years in managing statistical service.  Strong personality and commitment to manager statistical programs/ activities for Vanuatu including its human and financial resources in line to program budgetary provision.  Strong appreciation of, and the ability to use, data processing and standard statistical packages (SPSS, PARADOX, IMPS, SAS, …etc);

3. Drivers license an advantage;

4. Computer literacy with familiarity with statistical packages such as SAS, SPSS, ACCESS
IMPS etc. would be an advantage;

5. Analytical, practical and creative;

6. Excellent interpersonal skills; and

7. English/French or both with Bislama is an advantage.
