Job Description
|
Main Responsibilities
Lead and manage the department in accordance with Ramada Standards and set hotel objectives Ensure that departmental levels of KPIs are in line with hotel objectives Always lead by example Prepare monthly departmental forecasts and yearly budgets together with Director of Rooms Interview and recruit colleagues as per job specifications and form an efficient and motivated housekeeping team Motivate, train, supervise, evaluate and discipline all Housekeeping and Laundry colleagues Ensure that all relevant Radama standards are in place and followed Monitor daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly assignments and projects for all Room Attendants, Housemen, Public Area, Uniform / Laundry Attendants and Supervisors Attend managerial meetings if requested and participate actively in achieving productive results Review and reassess outsourced contracts on a yearly basis |
Selection Criteria

Senior School
qualifications or equivalent is mandatory
Degree or Higher National Diploma equivalent in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management is mandatory Minimum 3 years of experience working in Resort hotel environment Minimum of 2 years previous Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper experience required Previous working experience is beneficial |

Job Description
|
NASAMA RESORT is looking
for a dynamic and experienced Resort General Manager to oversee and direct
our Resort operations and to maintain our position as a successful resort
with occupancy levels above the market average.
|
Selection Criteria
|
The successful applicant must have several years experience as
a Resort General Manager and a thorough knowledge of resort management
systems particularly in:
OPERATIONS Manage all departments and control operational costs. BUSINESS STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT, ANALYSIS AND EXECUTION Maximise profitability, market share and customer satisfaction by staying current with industry trends; monitor the competition and explore new business opportunities. REVENUE MANAGEMENT Control labour and capital expenses; establish effective pricing strategies; identify ways to grow occupancy, revenue and market share by researching and staying aware of competitor strategies. MARKETING & SALES Define and implement rate strategies and marketing plans based on market research to increase visibility and occupancy at the Resort; negotiate and implement contracts with international booking engines, travel agents, airlines, social and print media. RESERVATIONS & GUEST RELATIONS Ensure positive customer experiences by maintaining high-quality facilities and remedying problems quickly. HUMAN RESOURCES Train, supervise, motivate, discipline and monitor the performance of all employees in accordance with the Vanuatu Employment Act and the company policy. Ensure all employees are appropriately trained and performing to standard. |
