Job Description
|
The Consultant should:
• Review all relevant Government of Vanuatu Water Acts • Gather information from DoWR through one-to-one interviews will all relevant stakeholders • Develop Regulations based on Drinking Water Quality Standards; Construction Standards; and Water Works and Water Use Permits with State Law office and DoWR • Present standards to DoWR and State Law for Comments • Finalize Instructions for Regulations for Drinking Water Quality Standards and Construction Standards |
Selection Criteria
|
The firm or individual selected
must have:
• Environmental Law background • Experience writing regulations for State-Law • Excellent legal writing ability in English • Local Language and/or Bislama required • Knowledge of water issues is an asset, but not required There is no restriction on the nationality, citizenship or current residence of the candidate, but permanent or temporary residents of Vanuatu are preferred |
