This job is for confident people
who can speak fluently in English. The job is sales based. This means the
more you sell the more you earn.
You will be your own boss and work your own hours. If you are lazy and don't sell anything you do not get a percentage of the sale. You are paid on a commission basis. You can go to the resorts and talk to people or talk to people on the street where ever you may be. If people book a tour through you then you get a 10% of the sale. |

Reports to General Manager & Director.
Supervise, hire, train, discipline, evaluate performance of all housekeeping staff. Develop and implement housekeeping systems and procedures. Roster staff according to weekly occupancy levels. Plan and assign duties. Daily communication with General Manager, Director and other Resort Managers. Coordinate maintenance schedule with maintenance department. Daily inspection of rooms, reception, pool area, barbecue faré, massage faré, restaurant facilities to ensure resort's high standards of cleanliness and appearance are maintained. Attend to guests requests immediately. Control budget for housekeeping department. Carry out regular inventory of supplies and send written reports to management. Approve and order supplies. Maintain sufficient stock of supplies. |

Selection Criteria

Minimum 2 years as Head Housekeeper
for a hotel/resort.
Able to work shifts, weekends, Public Holidays. Fluent English and Bislama. French an advantage. Possess strong leadership qualities and organizational skills. Motivated and dedicated to maintaining high standards of excellence for the resort and guests. Attention to detail and accuracy. Able to respond quickly to resolve problems and make good decisions. |
