Job Description:
About the Position
As an Automotive Technician, you will be required to provide product and service to the customer, and to assist the Head Automotive Technician in the operation of the workshop. You will be able to carry out mechanical duties, tyre fitting, wheel balancing as well as ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to Policies and Procedures as defined by EXIM and comply with WH&S Rules, Regulations & Procedures.
          Criteria:
          To be successful in this role you will need to have the following essential skills and knowledge:
            • Qualified Motor Mechanic (minimum Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical)
            • 5 years experience as an Automotive Technician
            • 5 years experience working on diesel engines
            • Motivated team member and take interest and pride in their workmanship
            • Value quality workmanship and customer service
            • Sound communication skills
            • Maintain customer satisfaction levels 
            • Maintain a high standard of service 
            • Successful repair of all Customer vehicles 
            • Successfully complete work in a safe manner  
            • Excellent team player
            • Hold a current and full drivers licence

            The Vanuatu Red Cross Society, is seeking applications from dynamic and highly motivated persons to immediately fill up the following position. 

                    Criteria:
                    • A Tertiary degree in relevant field (Humanitarian, Social Work or Communications) with demonstrated experience in communications/ or community engagement
                    • Red Cross Child Protection Training
                    • Experience training or supporting training of peers, Red Cross clients or Beneficiaries
                    • Proven ability to follow and carry out instructions and assignment tasks under minimal supervision
                    • Experience maintaining and updating data bases and budgets
