Job Description: INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST: RECEPTIONIST Organization & Position Overview The Pacific Aviation Safety Office (PASO) provides regional aviation regulatory and safety oversight services to member states by supporting and assisting them to meet their contracted regulatory obligations. Expressions of interest (EOIs) are now invited from individuals with appropriate experience and skills to fulfill the role of Receptionist based in Port Vila, Vanuatu. This is a fixed term role for 4 months. Duties and Responsibilities The Receptionist reports to the General Manager providing administrative and clerical functions for PASO. The successful applicant will have excellent verbal and written communications, be a good team player, strong problem solver and a quick thinker. Applicants who can demonstrate initiative will have an advantage. Key Accountabilities The role requires high level of communication to support the PASO office and the Pool of Inspectors in order for work to be undertaken successfully for PASO member states. As the receptionist you will be required to undertake core office support function, ensure tasks (flights, accommodation, and contracts) are executed in a timely and accurate manner and maintain accurate office records. Criteria: Experience Levels The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the necessary skills and experience to perform the role successfully with minimal supervision. Experience in a similar role is preferred and the successful applicant must be able to demonstrate a competent working knowledge of Microsoft functions.
