Job Description:

TRR, as part of its Consumer Awareness and Protection program focusing on communities outside Port Vila, is providing another round of this great opportunity to individuals (both male and female) who are keen and have passion to be part of this dynamic working group known to be Community Consumer Champions. It is intended that the champions provide assistance to TRR to promote more Telecommunications/ICT awareness at the community level on the benefits and potential impacts of using ICT as an enabler for consumer’s daily needs.

TRR is now inviting applications from interested people throughout the six provinces, who wish to be involved in extending TRR’s consumer awareness and educational activities into the rural communities outside of the reach of TRR throughout Vanuatu.

The selected Champions will be trained and work with TRR Consumer Affairs Team on an as required basis, and will enjoy this opportunity for up to 3 years which may be extended if the program proves successful.  Performance will be assessed annually.  It is anticipated that TRR will make contact with its Champions on a quarterly basis to assess achievements, and undertake the next phase of work.

Le ministère de l'Éducation et de la Formation (MoET) lance une manifestation  d’intérêt à toutes les personnes qualifiées qui peuvent s’ajouter au registre des concepteurs potentiels pour aider le Centre de Recherche et de Documentation Pédagogique (CRDP) à élaborer des matériels de soutien pour le programme des années 4 à 6.

            The Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) seeks expressions of interest from suitably qualified persons to be added to a register of potential writers to assist the Curriculum Development Unit (CDU) develop support materials for the Year 4 –6 syllabus.

            The support materials are designed to assist teachers implement the syllabus in classrooms. They provide information about teaching and learning strategies, approaches to assessment, and ideas for lesson planning.

            Writers will use prescribed specifications to design materials for each learning area and year group. They will work under the supervision of Curriculum Coordinators in CDU responsible for specific learning areas.

            English and French versions of the support materials will be developed. For this reason, positions will be made available for Anglophone and Francophone writers.
