Criteria:

        Okeanos Sustainable Sea Transport Ltd is currently looking for a local crew (deck hand) and a captain (20 to 200GT). 
        Our goal is to develop sustainable tourism and transport as well launching awareness campaigns and get involved in marine conservation. Our boat is a Vaka Motu, a traditional Polynesian catamaran (15m) using only sails, solar panels and coconut oil for our engines. Have local, committed, crew members is now essential for us. The successful applicants will be trained by our current crew.

        Depending on the administration, however we wish to start in November. 
        A first sessions will happen early October (10th).

              Reporting to the Executive Director of Commercial Services, the role of the Finance Manager is to provide financial support, technical expertise and direction to develop both the internal and external financial reporting for the VAN2017 Pacific Games.

              The Finance Manager is required to exercise administrative judgment and assume responsibility for decisions within the confines of approved operating plans & budgets. 
              Duties and Responsibilities 
              • Responsible for the accurate and timely accounting of the Van2017 Pacific Games. This will include the day to day bookkeeping duties - posting invoices, preparing payments, processing TT's for overseas suppliers, making deposits and producing month end statements. You are responsible for government acquittals, reconciliations and petty cash
              • Ensure all reporting deadlines are met with accurate information for monthly financial statements, divisional cost center statements, and budget reviews 
              • Create and update chart of accounts as required
              • Ensure systems in place for the efficient storing of financial material and information which may be easily retrieved
              • Maintain historical data for use as archival material at the conclusion of the games
              • Support the CEO, senior management and staff with the development and production of various reports as an aid to management of the divisions and organization
              • Resolve problems and recommend strategies to address situations where deliverables or timelines may be jeopardized 
              • Responsible for yearend audit preparation
              • Staff supervision of accounting team.
              Criteria:
              Experience and Competencies 
              • Ability to prioritize day to day work activities within work routines and schedules 
              • Requires excellent interpersonal, organization and relationship building skills 
              • Must be a self starter and work independently without guidance and supervision 
              • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines

                    Job Description:
                    The Ceremonies and Cultural Manager is responsible for ensuring that the key ceremonial elements as outlined in the Host Contract and PGC Charter are carried out. Also key to the role is to ensure that the Games cultural and ceremonies programs demonstrate the richness of the Vanuatu people and the heritage of the country. The 2017 Pacific Games must represent a balance between sport, protocol and culture.
                    Specific Responsibilities
                    • Ensure the planning and delivery of an opening and closing ceremony. This will be done through the appointment and management of delivery agents/contractors
                    • Management of a cultural advisory group that represent the cultural diversity and people of these islands
                    • Plan with Sport the medal ceremonies that must have the combination of sport protocol and Pacific Games protocol and a unique Vanuatu influence
                    • Planning and delivery of a daily cultural program consisting of local and international entertainers from different genres/mediums to present at "Festival Stages"
                    • Planning and delivery of welcoming and flag raising ceremonies at the Athletes Village
                    • Planning and delivery of Live Sites program throughout Vanuatu.
                    Criteria:
                    Experience
                    • 10+ years of senior experience producing, or managing festivals or ceremonies with demonstrated skills in project management, budgeting, and resource management
                    • Must have demonstrable skills/experience and understanding of the cultural mosaic of Vanuatu

                          Overall Responsibility
                          The Executive Director of Partnerships and Delivery is the senior position in the organization which will drive forward the operational planning and delivery of the Games. They will understand the market place both within Vanuatu and be able to access international suppliers to engage to deliver services. The position will also lead the coordination of the Government Working Committees who will deliver key services. The position will be supported by Games experts. The ED - Partnerships and Delivery will work closely with the ED of Marketing and Communications to try and source many of the services through sponsorship.
                          Specific Responsibilities
                          • Review and survey the market place for capabilities of suppliers and vendors and develop plans accordingly
                          • Oversee development of Tenders and RFPs for key operational services
                          • Establish and implement Terms of Reference for all Govt working groups, and direct the activities of all Committees for outcomes required
                          • Establish contract management process along with the ED-Commercial Services
                          • Work with the ED-Commercial services for key staff requirement.
                          • Provide the management support of the Games management experts when they are engaged.

The 2017 Pacific Games searching for an Executive Director of Partnerships and Delivery. This is one of the four most senior positions in the organization, and will be the critical position for the sourcing and contracting of key services that the organization requires: catering, cleaning, transport, logistics, security, FFE, overlay. The position provides the direction of the Games working committees that have been established by the Government to ensure they are tasked and directed towards the services the Games requires.

                          The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experiences:

                          • Knowledge of offshore suppliers that can supply key goods and services required
                          • Senior experience with developing and managing Tenders/RFP's and procurement
