Job Duties & Responsibilities Implement, maintain and follow VRCS standard warehouse practices and record keeping in accordance with audit trail standards Ensure the correct storage and rotation of stocks, as well as proper structural maintenance of warehouse(s) in view of maintaining all stocks in good condition Implement and maintain security and safety procedures and systems Maintain accurate stock records and controls at all times; provide weekly and monthly stock reports to the Logistics Coordinator and advice on warehousing issues that affect the overall logistics operation Coordinate and monitor the Management of the existing light vehicle to ensure proper planning and usage of the vehicles according to the needs of the ongoing operation Plan, coordinate and manage the commercial transport contracts – road, sea and air Participate in the field level procurement of goods and services, obtaining quotations, preparing comparative bid analyses (CBA) and making recommendations for selecting the suitable suppliers/service providers.     Criteria:  Applicants are required to demonstrate the following: Educated to graduate degree level and/or can demonstrate equivalent intellectual capacity Professional qualification or equivalent of qualifying experience in logistics  Experience 2 years’ experience in general logistics, including warehousing and transportation Experience in using inventory/finance software is preferred Experience of supervising and supporting staff or labourers Experience of working for humanitarian/non profit-making Organisation.
