Job Description: Telecom Vanuatu Limited is seeking for a Cashier to be based in Port Vila.  Mission The Role also involves the preparation, of the daily banking, daily reconciliation of street seller’s daily sales. This is a hands-on role that necessitates the development of a good understanding of GPTO. Principal Objectives  To prepare on a daily basis: The daily banking Reconciliation and reporting of street sellers daily sales and cash Processing of street sellers sales. Primary Responsibilities: Before 10am each day prepare the banking for Telecom house - cash and cheques Be proactive in preparing reconciliation sheets for street seller’s daily sales Prepare daily reconciliations for all street sellers reporting to Telecom House, agreeing stock movements and cash Process street seller’s sales before leaving each day Promptly advise management of discrepancies in street seller’s reconciliations Within 2 days of the beginning of the month prepare details of street sellers sales for Manager outdoor sales to calculate street sellers commission Process Direct Debit rejections when received from the banks Process island sales for direct debits advised by finance staff Assist other stockroom staff with preparation and recording of mission sales when required.
