The Successful applicant will possess:

Criteria: Essential: Secondary school diploma Previous experience managing youth livelihoods and/or leadership programs Excellent program or project management skills and experience Ability to develop and manage program budgets and ensure financial procedures and policies are followed Ability to apply program monitoring and learning to the development of narrative reports and program plans Ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders including international agencies, rural communities and national and international youth volunteers Understanding of principles of youth empowerment and skills development Excellent interpersonal, networking, communication, negotiation and report writing skills Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word software Excellent communication skills in English and Bislama. Desirable Experience implementing staff training and development approaches Experience managing staff within a rigorous performance management framework Formal training in management, youth livelihoods and empowerment approaches Public relations, program promotion and marketing skills and experience.

PASO has an opening for a skilled, motivated and committed person who is interested in working and contributing to the development of Aviation safety in the Pacific. Criteria: Tertiary qualifications from a recognized institution in a relevant discipline Demonstrated experience, of at least two (2) years over the previous three (3) years, in hands-on project and financial management roles Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and/or MYOB financial system or relevant Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and pay attention to detail Previous experience in World Bank funded projects or similar project management systems therein.
