We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Emergency Project Coordinator to:
• Implement and manage project activities as stated in the relevant Project Document, which includes managing a budget and monitoring expenditures.
• Ensure proper monitoring and evaluation procedures are present in all project activities, including site monitoring visits as necessary.
• Supervise and work closely/support Implementing Partners (IPs) for implementation of project activities.
• Manage the information flows between Implementing Partners and Assistant FAO Representative.
• Take responsibility for overall progress and use of resources and initiating corrective action where necessary.

The Emergency Project Coordinator’s prime responsibility is to ensure that the project achieved the objectives within the specified period, cost, quality, scope. Key competencies include:
• Demonstrates commitment to FAO’s vision and values
• Displays cultural, gender, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability
• Excellent command of English language and Bislama
• Former Knowledge/experience in managing FAO funded projects will be considered as a strong advantage.
• Good interpersonal skills such as communication, negotiation, conflict management;
• Skills in planning and time management, as well as attention to detail;
• Good analytical and writing skills.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade is seeking an experienced administration manager with significant people and administration management skills for the New Zealand High Commission in Port Vila, Vanuatu.
The High Commission in Port Vila represents the New Zealand Government to the highest standards of professional excellence across New Zealand’s political, trade and economic, defence and security and international development interests, as well as delivering consular services for New Zealanders in Vanuatu.
The Administration Manager contributes to the achievement of the strategic priorities of the Post through effective delivery of a full range of office administration duties, including management of local staff and the High Commission’s financial processes, property and IT systems, and management of the High Commission’s consular services.
The role will suit those interested in a broad range of work in a fascinating, diverse and rewarding environment. The ability to provide leadership and deliver results in a collaborative manner is essential, as is the ability to work effectively across cultures.
