The Vanuatu Red Cross Society, working jointly with the support of the French Red Cross, is seeking applications from dynamic and highly motivated persons to immediately fill up the position as part of its VRCS disaster management team. Interested candidates are invited to pick up a more detailed job description of this position at French Red Cross

Office (located downstairs at Vanuatu Red Cross Headquarters). Duties and responsibilities:

1) Support the disaster risk reduction coordinator to implement the result 2 of the “together becoming resilient projects” which states “communities and schools have raised their awareness on disaster risk reductions”

2) Work in close coordination with all the disaster risk reduction stakeholders at the national level to put in place standardized information education and communication (IEC) tools for awareness purposes at the community level and in schools

3) Ensure that the activities of the project result 2 are implemented according to its timeframe and budget.
