The Vanuatu Chamber of Commerce and Industry is seeking to recruit a Ni Vanuatu citizen for the position of Accounts Administrator for the Administration Services Unit.
Duties:
  • Computer recording of financial transactions
  • Producing consolidated monthly and annual financial reports
  • Debt collection
  • Accounting for a number of small to medium government and other donor funded projects and programmes
  • Providing financial advice to the organisation
  • Coordinating other Administration Services tasks

        Criteria:
        Qualification and Experience:
        • Ability to use MYOB Account Right
        • Knowledge of accounting standards
        • Ability to consolidate accounts of various units
        • Experience in debt collection activities
        • Have good analytical, supervisory and leadership skills, and be ready to work in a team
        • Proactive, autonomous, time management and flexibility ability and capacity
        • Relevant degree of professionalism
        • Excellent writing skills to prepare reports and presentations
        • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
        • Proficient in English including technical accounting terms, French an advantage
        • Accounting qualification degree or higher
        • Hold current driver's license
        • 5 to 10+ years experience
