The National Bank of Vanuatu is seeking to recruit a Rural Business Development Manager. The bank is currently expanding its rural banking network and business throughout the country and is looking for the right person to become part of the rural banking team to drive its rural banking strategic objectives.

The Role:

This senior role will be reporting directly to the Head of Rural Banking Services. It will be responsible for generating new and maintain existing clients across its rural branches, ensuring they are proactively managed, whilst providing tailored advice on Rural Agri-Business portfolio of products and other NBV services. It is also expected to be actively involved in the

development, implementation and administration of the bank’s rural banking business development plan.

- Must be enthusiastic and committed individual with over 5 years of experience in a business development and training officer position or similar role. He/She must be able to travel throughout Vanuatu as

part of this role’s requirements and must demonstrate excellent team leadership, analytical, marketing and training skills in current or previous roles to be considered

- Must demonstrate track record of past success in developing and retain clientele, driving business development, developing business plan and be a highly effective communicator. He/She will be working

closely with the rural communities throughout Vanuatu.
