Briefly describe this specific job
We are recruiting for Human Resources Manager

key responsibilities include:
Generating employment contracts and induction packs.
Coordinating recruitment and inductions to meet hotel staffing needs as required.
Accurately administrating and managing personnel documentation and employee files.
Manage the HR team: provide guidance and leadership on all HR functions, inclusive of Security / Compliance / OH&S / Labor – Relations / Training & Development.
Implement and maintain HR best practices in line with Warwick Hotels Vision & Values and ensure consistency in application across the organization.
Plan, organize, direct, control or coordinate the personnel, training, and labor relations activities of Warwick Hotel.
Represent organization at Industrial- related hearings and investigations.
Develop & manage specific HR projects to improve our services to managers and employees.
Providing operational support across a range of HR functions and processes and contributing to team initiatives.
Assist the Department Heads with coordination of employee rewards and benefits programs.
Drive culture & engagement initiatives, coordinate celebration events, recruitment days, employee of the month and all reward & recognition programs
Maintain up-to-date files of job descriptions and person specifications for all positions in the Hotels
Conduct initial screening for interviews. Conduct telephone reference checks, police checks and place job advertisements.
Conduct Induction and Compliance Training.
Update, maintain and follow up on training records.
Prepare personnel forecast to project employment needs.
Prepare and follow budgets for personnel operations.
Perform duties common, as a supervisor and always be prepared to step into any area requiring assistance.
Undertake any other reasonable duty assigned by your Department Head and/or Resort Manager and/or his appointed Assistant
To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel's staff handbook and the regulations contained therein.
To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Resort's policy relating to fire, health and hygiene, cyclone and safety procedures.

 

Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role:

Tertiary qualifications in HR or related field preferred, however not essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
An outgoing personality with strong attention to detail.
Proven administrative, organizational and time management skills.
The adaptability to build strong internal and external working relationships.
Minimum of 5 years' experience
Previous experience delivering the HR function within a Hotel environment is desirable, however not essential.
