Organisation Description:
The Department of Finance & Treasury is a department within the Ministry of Finance & Economic Management that manage government financial resources at the highest standard.
Job Desctiption:
To ensure compliance with PFEM Act in relation to financial accounting and reporting, to ensure timely preparation of financial statement. This role involves leading the accounting team, preparing financial statements and providing strategic financial guidance to support effective decision making.
Selection Criteria:
Qualification: Bachelor's degree.
Expertise area: Financial accounting and management, auditing or related discipline.
Experience: At least 3-5 years' experience in related role, knowledge of accounting principle and practices, preparation of financial statements.
Technical competencies: Accounting knowledge and practices, fianncial software, exposure to the financial management information system, data analysis, technical accounting and arithmetic skills.
Generic competencies: Attention to detail, problem solving, time management, research skills, communication and interpersonal skills.
Leadership competencies: team development, strategic thinking, change management.
Behavioral competencies: Ethical judgement, integrity, respect, teamwork, punctual and honest.
Salary:
PS 9.1 VT 3,408,300 per annum
