Organisation Description:
The Department of Finance & Treasury is within the Ministry of Finance & Economic Management that manage government financial resources at the highest standards.
Job Desctiption:
To manage finance office operations and staff in the Tafea province and to provide budget planning and preparations, procurement and financial management assistance and advise to government departments located in the province.
Selection Criteria:
Qualification: Bachelor degree.
Expertise area: Accounting, auditing or related field.
Experience: At least 2-3 years' experience in bookkeeping, accounting or auditing, some background experience in a supervisory role.
Technical knowledge: Financial management knowledge, budgeting and forecasting skills, exposure to the financial management information system, data analysis and reporting and cash flow management.
Generic competencies: Communication and interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail, time management and adaptability.
Leadership competencies: Team collaborative, decision making, strategic thinking, mentorship and development.
Behavioral competencies: Integrity and ethics, professionalism, customer service oriented, honest, reliable and trustworthy.
Salary:
PS 4.1 VT 1,195,500 per annum
