We are expanding our operations and are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Construction Manager to oversee the development of our new state-of-the-art food processing facility.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to manage all aspects of the construction and development of a facility that will play a key role in our business growth.
Job Desctiption:
As the Project Construction Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the construction of the new food factory. You will work closely with internal teams, external contractors, and design professionals to ensure the facility is built on time, within budget, and meets all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and food industry specifications.
Selection Criteria:
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning, design, and construction phases of the new food manufacturing facility.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure project milestones are met.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure the successful execution of construction plans.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food manufacturing regulations, including hygiene standards.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Manage risk assessment and mitigation plans to avoid delays or unexpected costs.
• Prepare and review contracts, change orders, and other legal documentation.
• Provide regular project status updates to senior management.
• Oversee the installation of machinery, equipment, and systems specific to food production.
• Ensure that the facility meets all required environmental and sustainability standards.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5-7 years of experience in construction project management, preferably within the food manufacturing or industrial sector.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and food industry regulations.
• Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• PMP certification is a plus.
