Organisation Description:
The Department of Finance & Treasury is a department within the Ministry of Finance & Economic Management that oversee the public finance and economic management act.
Job Desctiption:
To support the Government's role as owner of Government Business Enterprises (GBEs), including evaluation of individual GBE's performance in achieving a reasonable return on the Government's investment therein.
Selection Criteria:
Qualification: Bachelor's degree, preferably at honors level.
Special business education: Economics, commerce or accounting.
Experience: An aptitude for financial analysis and review, ability to understand corporate policy and management.
Special skills: Must have good analytical skills, very strong negotiating skills, excellent and written communication skills, planning and management skills, be familiar with MS Office programs, demonstrate leadership skills at high level, teamwork & loyalty to the People of Vanuatu and Government.
Thinking style: Analytical, practical and creative.
Communication/ Interpersonal skills: Strong written and oral communication skills.
Behavorial competencies: Honest, reliable and of good character.
Language: English or French and Bislama.
Salary:
PS 4.1 VT 1,195,500 per annum
