Organisation Description:
The Department of Finance & Treasury is a department within the Ministry of Finance & Economic Management that manage government financial resources at the highest standard, review price of retail goods, conduct audits, ensure government procurement process is transparent and maintain proper disposal of assets.
Job Desctiption:
Plan, lead and manage the Treasury Division's budget management operations. This role involves overseeing cash management, debt management, financial planning, and execution of financial policies to ensure fiscal stability and efficient allocation of resources.
Selection Criteria:
Qualification: Masters degree.
Expertise area: Accounting, economics, law, commerce or related discipline.
Experience: At least five (5) years' experience in budget preparation and management, preferably in a government Ministry or agency.
Technical competencies: financial management, treasury operations, analytical skills, regulatory knowledge.
Generic competencies: Communication and interpersonal skills, problem solving and adaptability.
Leadership competencies: Strategic thinking, team management, decision making and change management.
Behavioral competencies: Integrity, resilience, cultural sensitivity, accountability.
Salary:
DIR 1.1 (VT 3,968,600 per annum)
