Organisation Description:
Cafe Vila and Three Pigs are the restaurants for Nasama Resort in Pango. They are two of the most popular dining spots in Port Vila, offering a unique mix of delicious cuisine and warm hospitality.
We are seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to join our Front of House team, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Job Desctiption:
WAITER / CASHIER
• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Present menu and explain items on the menu.
• Take and relay food and drink orders accurately to the kitchen and bar.
• Provide courteous and quick service to meet customers' needs during their dining experience.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints in professional manner.
• Process payments and manage cash transactions.
• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth service.
• Ensure that the dining area is always clean and presents well.
BARTENDER
• Provide customers with beverages throughout their stay in the restaurant.
• Have good knowledge of what is stocked in the bar.
• Have good knowledge of making a variety of cocktails.
• Maintain and control stock of key ingredients and beverages.
• Keep bar space organised to prevent clutter.
• Wash glassware or other dishes to meet the needs of the service.
• Interact with customers to ensure they have a pleasant experience at the bar.
Selection Criteria:
QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous experience as Waiter or Cashier or Bartender.
• Understand and speak good English.
• Experience using POS systems preferred.
• Able to communicate well with customers.
• Eager to learn and take directions from the Manager.
• Able to work quickly in a busy restaurant or bar.
• Able to work well with the restaurant team.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Salary:
