Organisation Description:
The Corporate Services Unit is within the Ministry of Finance & Economic Management that oversee policy, planning, financial management, human resources, central tenders board and internal audits.
Job Desctiption:
The Senior M&E will support the Director General , Executive Officer and Directors in data collection, analysis and learning activities to help ensure accountability and efficiency for all policies, programs and projects; develop and implement effective M&E systems for National a& Corporate Plans and projects related to work of the Ministry; develop the Ministry M&E Framework, result framework for approval and train staff in M&E reporting practices.
Selection Criteria:
Qualification: Bachelor degree
Special business education: Administration, information management, project management, economic or other relevant academic background.
Experience: 1-3 years' experience in monitoring and evaluation work and experience.
Special skills: Ability to design M&E tools, surveys, surveillance systems and evaluations, planning and reporting, negotiations, computer skills including word and excel.
Leadership competencies: Visionary, motivational, focused on team building, able to provide coaching, proactive, able to build professional network, leads with direction.
Thinking style: Demonstrate ability to train and build capacity of others.
Communication/ Interpersonal skills: Strong interpersonal; skills, strong communication skills in both written and oral.
Behavioral competencies: Diligent, loyal, honest, reliable and team player, able to work with minimal supervision.
Language: Fluent in Bislama, English and French
Salary:
PS 7.1 VT 2,202,300 per annum
