Organisation Description:
The Vanuatu Tennis Federation is a non-government and charitable organization which aims, according to its Constitution to:
- promote, develop, enhance and protect the sport of Tennis mainly as an amateur sport for the recreation and entertainment of the general public in Vanuatu;
- foster the growth and development of the sport of Tennis in Vanuatu
- maintain recognition from and by the ITF;
- uphold and enforce the Rules of Tennis and of ITF;
- promote good governance in, and preserve the ethics, integrity and independence of, Tennis as a sport.
As of January 2025, Vanuatu Tennis Federation will directly manage the operations of its National Centre located in Port-Vila at the Stade Area.
Job Desctiption:
• PART-TIME
• Maintain and grow the garden to ensure it meets specific requirements and expectations.
• Perform basic maintenance and basic building repairs/renovation;
• Plant and nurture new trees, flowers, and various plants;
• Work with hand tools and basic light machinery;
• Service all garden equipment and machinery;
• Maintain a clean garden by clearing rubbish and litter from the garden and grounds.
• Provide guidance to management on matters related to the garden.
• Advise management on the costs of plants and garden necessities with detailed written quotations and reports.
• Ensure a safe environment for staff and clients by adhering to safety and health regulations.
Selection Criteria:
1. Vanuatu Citizen.
2. Year 10 Certificate.
3. Minimum 3 years' experience. Experience in basic repair and/or Building Construction will be an advantage.
4. Ability to manage your time efficiently.
5. Work well unsupervised.
6. Skills in maintenance and cleaning.
7. In-depth knowledge of plants and gardening techniques.
8. Friendly personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with members and guests.
10. Hard worker.
11. Be physically fit.
