Job Desctiption:
We're seeking a creative and talented Pastry Chef to join our team! As a Pastry Chef, you'll be responsible for baking beautiful and delicious desserts and confections.
In addition to baking, you'll also be responsible for creating seasonal menus, developing new recipes, and sharing your knowledge with other team members.
Selection Criteria:
Pastry Chef Responsibilities
• Plan and manage daily operations of the kitchen's pastry section
• Suggesting new items as needed for daily specials
• Prepare pastries, desserts, confections, and more on a daily basis
• Decorate pastries using a variety of toppings and tools to apply them
• To conduct training and implement standards where required
• To adjust and control food standards when required
• Monitor the stock of all necessary ingredients
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines
• Stay up-to-date on food trends and dietary restriction needs, such as gluten-free options
• Effectively communicate with Executive chefs on the expectations of the desserts to the highest standards
• Suggest areas of improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions
• On request, assist the executive Chefs in all cases of Operations

Pastry Chef Requirements
• [1+] years' experience as a Pastry Chef
• Certificate in culinary arts preferred but not required
• Working knowledge of baking techniques
• Great attention to detail and creativity skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Superb organizational skills
