AFL Vanuatu (Australian Rules Football) is responsible for the growth and activities of AFL footy in Vanuatu.
AFL Footy is fast, physical and exciting and is available for males and females of all ages.
Job Desctiption:
AFL Vanuatu is looking for the most dynamic Sports Administrator in the country to join our team.
We are growing fast and want the best people to work in our friendly but busy sporting programs.
Will work under AFL Vanuatu Manager
Coordinate local DO (development officers) including identifying suitable people for these roles
Coordinate with all schools in the Provinces from the PEO down to local teachers
Create and coordinate school competitions
Create and coordinate community competitions
Communicate with AFL Vanuatu manager and committee
Work on opportunities to promote AFL at festivals and events
Sell merchandise and other fund raising activities
Overall responsible for AFL activities in the SHEFA and TAFEA provinces
Selection Criteria:
1. Mature, honest, loyal and responsible
2. Previous roles in coordinating sports or business programs would be great but we are happy to hear from people with no previous experience but believe they have the skills and passion.
3. Strong English and Bislama
4. Good with Computers and Microsoft word and excel and email
5. A good understanding of budget's and financial reporting or willing to learn
6. A passion for sport and the opportunities it provides to the community
7. Willing and able to be part of team
